Seirá: First Sounding

Nov. 2 @ 5:59pm

Please join artist Lawrence English for a special shared listening event, where we will come together to listen to the first broadcast of his Seirá installation at Los Angeles City Hall.

This first sounding of Seirá will happen at 5:59pm at the corner of Spring and Temple streets. Join us for this moment of shared reflection, where English will be on hand to discuss the work.

The event features a special surprise performance by Selah Gospel Choir.

Attendees will also receive a free copy of the forthcoming Seirá publication, a field guide to the civil defense sirens of Los Angeles.

The site is within walking distance of the Civic Center metro station.
